Ghost, a word that sometimes invokes fear in many, with others, a fulfilling experience to have a glimpse of the super natural. To myself,it is  more of a normal experience as I grew up in a house with a guest. I will admit the first encounter was terrifying to say the least.  As time went by it became more on the common place. He, (the guest is a male)  was never a menacing presence to myself or others. Surprising enough all who  have lived there has had some kind of experience.

Some “see” while others do not ,  many that I have discussed ghost with, will admit to some strange event in their lives.

I read somewhere  when Columbus first reached America the ships anchored could not be seen by the Native Americans standing on shore. A Shaman first saw it and described what he was seeing then others began to see them. This article has some validity with me in that when looking for four leaf clovers I could not find a one until someone actually showed me one in the yard among other  three leaf clovers. Until that time my search was unsuccessful and I do not believe I would have ever found one had it not been pointed out.

There are many ways to “see” not just with the eyes, many feel a presence or hear footsteps etc., then there are those who report cold spots so “seeing” encompasses many senses. I often close my eyes and “see”  in my minds eye. If one opens their mind they generally “see”. I have added to this page a few pictures I have have saved. Many were taken on Little Round Top in Gettysburg .
