There are a few former patients Of mine ( I have been an RN for over 40 years) that I am sure don’t remember my touching their lives who are alive today because of what you describe. I was the first professional who knew they were in grave trouble and the feeling in my body was total quivering and come close calls had me feeling the effects for several days

How wonderful that you have had the opportunity to do so much research. As far as I know one of my Kirkpatrick ancesters fought in the Revolutionary war (on our side), and another was a Major in the Confederate army in the Civil war.
