I am Tommy Hammerbeck Sr. and my interests are many. Let me share some of them. There is little in this wide and wonderful world that does not fascinate or interest me in some way.

I retired form Rexnord after 37 + years . Retiring as a Quality Control as a Technical Inspector and over the years  holding various other machining jobs; Certified Welder and Tool Room Machinist.

Now to my outside interests and accomplishments. I joined the Clarendon Fire Department in 1967 and served in many roles in the department over the years. I am now on the role as an inactive member. ( Retired )

I was highly active in EMS until retiring in 2005. I was one of the founding Fathers of Warren County EMS and served on the board of directors for many years also serving on the Regional board EMCO West. I was a state certified instructor and have taught since 1977 one year after becoming an EMT. I was also an American Heart Association Instructor and BTLS. In 1986 I became a Paramedic and was active in this role for many years. I was also instrumental in setting up the early version of what is now 911,and the buying and site mapping of the county Med radio system.

In 1986 I became a licensed Amateur Radio operator attaining the advanced license. I am currently a member of Warren County RACES.             ( Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service )

I play the guitar and sing for my own amusement. I enjoy most outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, hiking, kayaking, and riding bicycle and motorcycle. I own a 1987 Honda Gold Wing. I have interests in computers owning several and building several of my own. With the smart phones on the market I have owned several currently a Android. I also have dabbled with the Ipad & Apad/Epad the Android version of the Ipad .

I do some Civil war re-enacting as my GG Grandfather George W.Edinger a member of the 155th PVI. I enjoy history and am an avid reader not only in the civil war but most other subjects and my home looks like a library.

I became a healer in the art of Reiki and attained Reiki master. Also developed my Medium / Intuitive skills at Lily Dale. Also became Ordained under the Universal Spiritualist church. I have taught several workshops on metaphysics and lead many spiritual development circles. If you wonder why I would get involved in metaphysics read The Quest,Ghosts on this site.

I was blessed with a large family with six children. Three boys and three girls and I love them all to pieces. Although there were times I didn’t like them ( Smile) I have several grand children and 2 great grand children who call me “Poppy”, It’s fun to spoil them and send them home to their parents. Isn’t life great!!!

There is not enough room to put everything on this site but I would like to convey that I truly enjoy people and life in general and  pride myself in being a helping and giving person when prudent.  I have been blessed not with wealth but with family and friends, to which I give grateful  thanks.
